Spot and fix store issues

The Issues page collects failed labels, invoices, and integration errors in one list so nothing goes quietly wrong.

Some things fail quietly. A shipping label doesn't generate, an invoice doesn't issue, a marketplace connection expires overnight. The Issues page gathers those failures in one place so you find out from your dashboard rather than from an unhappy customer.

What lands here

Errors recorded across your store, including:

  • Shipping labels that failed to generate
  • Invoices that couldn't be issued
  • Integration errors — an expired marketplace or carrier connection, a rejected sync

Each row shows when it happened, what happened, where it came from, and what it relates to. When the error concerns an order, there's a View order link straight to it.

Make it part of your routine

Glance at Issues when you process orders. Most entries are individually small — one label, one invoice — but they're the kind of small that turns into a refund request if nobody notices for a week.

Tip: Repeated errors from the same source usually mean an expired connection rather than a one-off glitch. Reconnect the add-on and the errors normally stop — see Browse and connect add-ons.

Common issues and what to do

What you seeUsually means
Label generation failedAn address is incomplete or the carrier connection needs reauthorizing — see Carrier labels
Invoice failedMissing store or billing details — check Edit your store details
Integration errorThe connected service rejected the request or your authorization expired

You'll also get an email when a connection expires, so a broken integration doesn't wait for you to check.

FAQ

"No issues recorded" — is that good?

Yes. It means nothing has failed in your store. An empty Issues page is the one you want.

Do issues resolve themselves?

Some do — a transient error that succeeds on retry. Anything involving an expired connection or missing data needs you to fix the cause.
