Orders · Built into your store.
Know what needs packing next.
Start with the orders that need attention, then keep the purchase details beside the work. Payment status, packing progress and order history are built into your store, giving your team a shared place to prepare the next parcel.

Move the packing queue forward.
Use the To pack view to find paid or processing orders that are not marked packed. Select the orders you have prepared and mark them together, so the next person opening the queue can see what still needs doing.

0 packed; 3 still to pack. Packed rows remain here to show the change. In the To pack view they leave the queue.
Select two of three orders: the queue falls to one. No shipping status changes.
Keep the purchase beside the parcel.
Open an order to check its products, quantities and customer details while you prepare it. Keep the payment and shipping information visible too, so a packed order remains a clear preparation milestone rather than an assumption about dispatch.

Leave context for the next person.
Add a useful tag to make related orders easier to find, and leave a team note when a detail needs explaining. An address-check note stays with the purchase, where someone preparing the order can read it.

A few details before you begin.
Does marking an order packed mean it has shipped?
No. Packing is a separate marker from payment and shipping status. The To pack view finds paid or processing orders that have not been marked packed. Dispatch belongs to the shipping workflow and has its own effect on stock.
Which actions can I apply to several orders?
Supported bulk controls include changing status and marking orders packed. Packing, tags and bulk actions are available on eligible plans. Select the intended orders and review the action before applying it; an order can still need its own shipping details.
Read the orders guideCan the team leave notes and tags?
Yes, with the relevant plan access. Tags help you find orders, while comments keep team context in the timeline. Comments require a higher plan than packing and tags. A note or tag does not automatically stop shipping or assign work to someone.
Where do shipping and refunds fit?
The order brings together the purchase and related actions. Open the connected shipping flow to prepare a label, or the refund dialog to review a refund. Available processing options depend on the carrier or payment method used for that order.
