Create a PayNow sandbox account

Set up a free PayNow test account and connect it to your store so you can try payments without real money.

A sandbox is a pretend version of PayNow. You can run test payments and no real money moves. It is free and needs no contract.

1. Create the account

  1. Open panel.sandbox.paynow.pl/auth/register.
  2. Fill in the registration form and submit it.
  3. Open the email PayNow sends you and click the link to activate your account.
  4. Log in at panel.sandbox.paynow.pl.

2. Copy your two keys

  1. In the PayNow sandbox panel go to Ustawienia → Sklepy i punkty płatności (Settings → Shops and payment points).
  2. Copy Klucz dostępu do API – this is your API key.
  3. Copy Klucz obliczania podpisu – this is your Signature key.

3. Paste the keys into your store

  1. In your store admin open Add-ons → PayNow.
  2. Find the amber Sandbox box.
  3. Paste the API key and the Signature key into it.
  4. Tick Active in sandbox.
  5. Click Save PayNow settings.

Done. While your store is in test mode, checkout uses the PayNow sandbox.

Good to know

  • You do not need to set a notification address in PayNow. Your store sets it for you when you save.
  • Sandbox keys and production keys are different. Sandbox keys go only in the amber Sandbox box, production keys only in the green Production box.
  • Before you start selling for real, add your production keys and switch your store to live mode.
